Round One: The Labyrinth-- In Greek Myth, the Labyrinth was created by Daedalus to imprison the Minotaur, which was later slain by the hero Theseus. This event pays homage to this myth. Decided by a coin flip, one team will play the “Minotaur” while the other team will play the role of “Theseus.” The “Minotaur’s” goal is to escape the Labyrinth while “Theseus” must defeat the “Minotaur” and prevent it’s escape. The Labyrinth is made of up a series of connected underground tunnels below Osaka. Renovated and lit by torches just for the sake of this tournament. This match will be the only round completely hidden from any possible spectators.

The coin-flip will be decided upon by the teams themselves. So it's up to you, the teams, to decide which role you will play, Theseus or the Minotaur. The scenery is what one might typically think of an underground labyrinth. Dark, spooky, stone walls, random skeletons... The Round will last for one month's time in which each team will work together to construct their entry. Extensions can happen if the need arises. Please note me if the need ever does.
